Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Helmet Q64

Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). The steel construction M40 helmet retains most of its rough textured, blue-gray paint and about 95% of the decal.
The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact, the leather is still supple, the liner is a size '56' and it is complete with its original liner cord. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q64'. 'Q' is indicating production by the 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' in Esslingen.
The genuine chin strap is present and shows a faded maker mark
